sunday mornings

We have classes for children,
preschool through 5th grade.
We share the stories of the Bible through
teaching, crafts, games, and music.  
We also have a caring nursery for
newborn through two years of age.

Love the little ones! The vision for our Children's Ministry is to make young disciples who love as Jesus loves.  We want to support parents in their ministry of raising up children to know God through the truth of His Word.

vacation bible school

One of JP Bible’s exciting community outreaches is our annual VBS.  We spend a week reaching children and their families with the love of Jesus Christ.  We fill the buildings and grounds of our church with music, games, snacks, missionary stories, Bible lessons, and lots of fun.  We also share how our children can become involved in missions, whether short-term or long-term, in a faraway country and in their own neighborhoods. JP Bible’s VBS is an opportunity to reach the unchurched in our community.  Children who feel the love of Jesus through our volunteers can go home and share that love with their families.

youth

Youth are the church today!  We want to disciple them to be the servants and leaders of Christ’s church tomorrow.  
We disciple youth through life groups, service projects, and social events to develop
Christ-like character and significant life-giving relationships.

For those girls in the pre-teen and teen years, we provide a life group on Sunday evenings from 5:00-7:30.
There is an opportunity for growth through sharing a meal together, getting into the Word,
and fellowship through a variety of activities and games.

Life Groups

Disciples grow best in life groups! The vision of the Life Group Ministry is to encourage disciples through meaningful relationships where each person is loved, known, and accepted. Life Groups are made up of caring groups of people who come together to grow in their walk with Christ and other believers.  Sharing life, praying for one another, discussing and applying the Word, telling others about Jesus, and learning how to serve others, are all part of a healthy life group.

Women

Sisters are special!  Women are encouraged to have a deeper relationship with Jesus that is displayed in loving those around them – in the home and community.  We have a team of growing, caring women that work together to serve the ladies of the church through various programs, projects, and events - including a fall ladies’ retreat, baby and bridal showers, Bible studies, and life groups.

Men

Men are leaders!  Encouraging men to become God’s leaders by following Christ is what men’s ministry is all about.  We want to encourage every man, regardless of age, to take the “next step” towards fulfilling God’s purpose as a man.  We offer fellowship and equipping meetings, as well as an annual retreat, to strengthen or men in embracing the roles that God has assigned men in their heart, home, church, and community.  All men are invited to a weekly life group on Saturday mornings at 7:00am in the Discipleship Center. 

Griefshare

Navigating loss and grief with support!  GriefShare support group is a safe, welcoming place where people understand the difficult emotions of grief.  Through this 13-week group, you will discover what to expect in the days ahead and what is “normal” in grief.  Since there are no neat and orderly stages of grief, you will learn helpful ways of coping with grief, in all its unpredictability – and gain solid support each step of the way.  We also offer one-day support groups that offer encouragement through the loss of a spouse and over the holidays.
